Elisa Miravalles es artista de acción visual. Su trabajo investiga las poéticas del movimiento del cuerpo mediante el diálogo con objetos a través del lugar físico, empleando un lenguaje de plástica escénica. Utiliza técnicas expresivas provenientes del campo de las artes visuales y la coreografía. Adapta sus piezas performáticas a cada contexto a través de sistemas de acción basados en el concepto de estructura arquitectónica como generadora de la partitura, creando así un trabajo específico del sitio. A su vez, los registros visuales y objetos resultantes funcionan como foto-performances, video-perfomances o instalaciones artísticas.

Elisa Miravalles is a visual and action artist. Her work investigates the poetics of body movement through dialogue with objects through space. She uses a scenic plastic language. She uses expressive techniques from the field of physical theater and the visual arts. She adapts her action proposals to each context through a method that the author has called performative architecture, thus creating a site-specific work. In turn, the visual records and objects generated by carrying out these actions work like photo-performances, video-performances or artistic installations.
